Morgan Carpenter speaks at The Wheeler Centre: Intersex bodies and the society that shapes them
Morgan Carpenter spoke on “Intersex bodies and the society that shapes them” at Melbourne’s Wheeler Centre. The event took place at lunchtime on Thursday 26 November.
In this lunchtime talk, he’ll introduce what intersex is, talk about its relevance to LGBT alliances, and cover key health, cultural and religious issues as they relate to intersex – and their mental health impact.

The speech was part of a season called “Middlesex: Queer Week”, with lots of other amazing speakers, including Lia Incognita, Christos Tsiolkos, Cyndi Darnell, Kath Duncan, Sally Goldner and Buck Angel, Tommy Murphy, Alyena Mohummadally, Crusader Hillis, and Fiona McGregor.
