IHRA is generally supportive of the Tasmanian inquiry. We are very pleased that States and Territories are beginning to consider protections for the bodily integrity of children with intersex variations. However, the detail gives cause for concern.
YOUth & I calls for submission by young intersex people to share their own stories, short essays, reflections, poems, cartoons, drawings, and more.
Our societies have accepted a binary construct between male and female which does not reflect Nature and the enormous variety of possible sexes which overlap one another in various gradations on a spectrum.
