Webinar: Healing and community building, with Mani Mitchell
It is our great pleasure to hold this webinar with one of the most beloved icons of our community, Mani Mitchell. With decades of compassionate and formative work under their belt, Mani was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit last year for their incredible contributions to intersex advocacy and education. An accomplished background in counselling and education, and a personal journey that coincided with the growth of the intersex human rights movement itself, Mani’s radical visibility has reached many across the globe.
In this workshop, Mani talks about their life, healing and community development, looking at where the intersex movement has come from as well as the challenges it faces today. Taking principals of self care and community building back to basics to understand how we need to build ourselves, and each other up to truly let our intersexcellence shine.
