Intersex Human Rights Australia

Intersex Solidarity Day is observed each year on November 8th and is a day to recognise and support the intersex community. It follows intersex awareness day and whilst it does raise awareness about the issues intersex people face and helps advocate for our rights, it is a day to remember the many advocates and activists who have fought hard to improve conditions and reduce stigma over the years. The day encourages conversations about the need for visibility, respect, and equality for intersex individuals. By fostering understanding and solidarity, we can help create a more inclusive society.
This year, with many of the intersex community feeling concerned about the impact of events this week in the United States, we shared a series of images and powerful quotes to inspire and instill hope.
