Our initial submission to the Senate Community Affairs References Committee inquiry into the involuntary or coerced sterilisation of people with disabilities in Australia, now also including the sterilisation and sexual health of intersex people.
The lived experience of intersex people, and the intersex movement, have many intersectionalities with experiences of disability and the disability movement.
This is a policy statement by the global board of OII, and is endorsed by OII Australia.
